LittleBIG Connection is actively looking for a Data Analyst in Barcelona or Madrid (VIE contract)!

At LittleBig Connection, we firmly believe in the transformative power of data analytics and AI to enhance business operations, drive informed decision-making and foster sustainable business growth.

To reinforce our young and ambitious Data and AI team we are seeking a dedicated Data Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions. You will play a critical role in the process of business decision-making, turning data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. You will collaborate closely with key business stakeholders (Financial Partners, Head of Business, Product Managers) to develop impactful analytics solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Translate business needs to technical specifications.
• Design, build and deploy data solutions (e.g. reporting tools).
• Create tools to store data.
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting.
• Evaluate and improve existing data systems.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.
• Create visualizations and reports for requested projects.
• Maintain and support data analytics platforms.

Candidate Profile 

• 1-3 years of experience.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving aptitude.
• Proven ability to take initiative and innovate.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and tackle challenging tasks.
• Data science / statistics.
• Familiarity with data warehouse design concepts (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining.
• Understanding of database management systems and ETL processes (Azure Databricks).
• Familiarity with data tools (e.g., Microsoft Power BI, Tableau).
• Knowledge of SQL queries.
• Fluent English.

Typical Day

• Weekly meetings with stakeholders to gather their feedback and understand their needs.
• Development of new features or dashboards based on the to-do list created with the project manager and stakeholders.
• Occasional work on automation projects (e.g., sending data or messages automatically to freelancers for opportunities that match their profile).
• Sharing raw data on an ad-hoc basis depending on requests.
