Mantu is looking for a dynamic and motivated Data Analyst Intern to join our team in either Madrid, Spain, or Geneva, Switzerland
To strengthen our ambitious and dynamic Data and AI team, we are seeking a proactive and detail oriented Data Analyst. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions while converting raw data into actionable insights that influence strategic decisions. You’ll collaborate closely with key stakeholders including Financial Partners, Heads of Business, and Product Managers to deliver impactful analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Business Insights & Analytics:
- Translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Design, build, and deploy data-driven solutions (e.g., dashboards, reporting tools).
- Create and manage tools for data storage and analysis.
- Conduct database queries, data analyses, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Develop visualizations and reports for projects and ad hoc requests.

Data Systems Development:
- Improve and maintain existing data systems and analytics platforms.
- Support system integration projects with internal teams.
- Perform unit testing and resolve issues in data pipelines.

Automation & Innovation:
- Contribute to automation projects, such as auto-matching freelancers to opportunities based on data.
- Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance workflows and analytics capabilities.
What We're Looking For
Experience
- less than a year of relevant experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar field.
Skills
- Analytical mindset with strong problem solving skills.
- A proactive approach to learning and tackling challenges.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Creativity and a passion for innovation.
Technical Knowledge
- Basics of data science and statistics.
- Familiarity with data warehouse design (e.g., dimensional modeling) and data mining techniques.
- Experience with database management systems and ETL processes (e.g., Azure Databricks).
- Hands on experience with visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- knowledge in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
Language
- Fluency in English is essential.
