As a Trading System Project Management Consultant, you will lead and manage the implementation and integration of trading system software solutions for clients across Japan, China, and Korea.
Your Missions:
- Lead project management and consulting activities for implementation and integration of trading system software solutions at client sites in Japan, China, and Korea.
- Create and review project scope, schedules, and delivery plans; validate requirements, identify project dependencies, risks, and issues.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope and customer expectations.
- Drive and balance project schedules and resources through close collaboration with key project stakeholders.
- Control project deliverables, scope, and expectations; coordinate project progress with sponsors, steering committees, and senior leadership.
- Develop and track detailed project plans including schedules, technical and business requirements, cost estimates, resource plans, communication plans, risk mitigation plans, and issue resolution plans.
- Lead functional and process requirement workshops with customers to define business, process, functional, and data requirements; deliver client trainings.
- Act as the local team lead to coach and guide the technology and professional service team on the ground.
Your Profile:
- 5 to 10 years of experience successfully managing complex and multi-million-dollar client-facing projects.
- Experience in enterprise software implementations, project life cycles, and software implementation methodologies.
- Proven project management experience in software solutions implementation projects involving Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Trade Management, or ERP systems.
- Experience working for consulting or professional services organizations specializing in supply chain management or global trade management.
- Program management experience is a plus.
- Experience working in multinational companies.
- Ability to independently coach, mentor, and motivate project teams to influence a positive, accountable, and collaborative approach.
- Effective communication skills to convey project expectations to team members and stakeholders at all levels, including business representatives, partners, customers, and consultants.
- Native level Japanese language skills and good communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Fluency in any other Asian language is a plus.
- Quick learner with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting & Finance, or Project Management equivalent.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
