ABOUT THE JOB
- Develop, maintain, and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
- Build and maintain SSIS packages to extract, transform, and load data from various data sources into SQL Server databases or data warehouses.
- Develop and maintain SSRS reports, including parameterized, tabular, matrix, and drill-down reports based on business requirements.
- Troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries and ETL processes to improve performance and reliability.
- Monitor scheduled SQL Server Agent jobs and resolve failures related to ETL and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Support database deployment, testing, and production releases following development best practices.
- Participate in database performance tuning, data validation, and issue investigation.
- Maintain technical documentation for database objects, ETL packages, and reports.
- Follow version control and development standards using Git or Azure DevOps/TFS.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- From 4+ years of experience in SQL Server development.
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2019/2022 preferred) and T-SQL programming.
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining SSIS packages.
- Experience creating and maintaining SSRS reports.
- Understanding of SQL query optimization and performance tuning using execution plans and SQL Profiler.
- Experience working with SQL Server Agent for job scheduling and monitoring.
- Familiarity with Git or Azure DevOps/TFS for source control.
- Exposure to Power BI or Azure Data Factory is an advantage.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile development environment.
