Job description

ABOUT THE JOB

  • Act as a Scrum Master for an Agile team delivering a large-scale Data Migration project.
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
  • Coach the team on Agile values, Scrum principles, and best practices to ensure efficient sprint delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Data Engineers, QA Engineers, and business stakeholders to align priorities and ensure smooth migration activities.
  • Identify and remove impediments impacting data migration, validation, testing, and release activities.
  • Coordinate dependencies across multiple teams involved in source systems, target platforms, and data integration processes.
  • Monitor sprint progress, team capacity, risks, and Agile metrics while providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Support release planning, migration planning, and risk management to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
  • Maintain Agile documentation, project reports, and meeting notes using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize Agile processes and enhance team collaboration.
  • Collaborate with local and regional teams in an international working environment.

ABOUT YOU

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or related fields.
  • From 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Project Manager in software development or data-related projects.
  • Strong experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and working in Agile environments.
  • Experience supporting Data Migration, Data Integration, Data Warehouse, or other data-focused projects is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Scrum certification (PSM, CSM, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Data Engineers, QA Engineers, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar.
  • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
