Job description

We are seeking a Senior Business Delivery Manager to join a high-performing Contract Development & Manufacturing Operations (CDMO) team dedicated to business excellence, process management, digital innovation, and data analytics. This team operates as a strategic and collaborative group ensuring that external manufacturing partners consistently meet production targets on time, within budget, and in full compliance with cGMP quality standards to support global patient supply.

The ideal candidate brings a strong command of project management, continuous improvement methodologies, and data analytics, combined with the ability to design and implement robust, harmonized business processes at scale. You thrive in complex, matrixed environments, demonstrate an agile mindset, and can effectively influence a broad network of internal and external stakeholders without direct authority.

  • Seniority: Mid-Senior Level (4–6 years of experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional programs and governance processes across CDMO chapters, including Risk Management, Issue Management, and Project Portfolio Management
  • Standardize, harmonize, and streamline operational, systematic, and compliance-driven reporting solutions across internal and external manufacturing networks
  • Manage centralized external artwork management and brand protection activities, serving as the primary interface for packaging CMOs and internal stakeholders
  • Identify, prioritize, and execute complex Lean/Continuous Improvement (CI) projects to optimize, stabilize, and simplify end-to-end supply processes
  • Collect, mine, and interpret internal operational and external market data to establish performance KPIs, predict outcomes, and maintain leadership dashboards
  • Facilitate the development, adoption, and scaling of fit-for-purpose digital tools aligned with the PT Digital Roadmap to accelerate decision-making
  • Coordinate multi-site CAPAs, address regulatory or internal audit findings, and support Site Managers with operational bottleneck resolution and decommissioning activities
  • Align and execute CDMO communication strategies, managing organizational change management plans, intranet tools, and network-wide engagement events

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing/packaging-related industry, pharma project management, or operations excellence consulting
  • Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience applying continuous improvement processes, Six Sigma tools, and Lean methodologies
  • Deep functional expertise in at least one key domain: data/predictive analytics, digital excellence, project management, or organizational change management
  • Proficiency in data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Qlik Sense) and enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, Veeva)
  • Certification in Project Management (PMI), AgilePM, or equivalent proven project management experience
  • Strong cross-functional agility across Supply Chain, Quality Management, and internal/external Manufacturing functions
  • Experience running and facilitating business operations for leadership teams, including agenda management, action tracking, and capability building

Mandatory Skills

  • Proven ability to lead in a matrix team environment and influence stakeholders without direct authority
  • Demonstrated competence in Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies, structured problem-solving, and root cause analysis
  • Proficiency in digital and data analytics tools to drive the digitization of complex business processes
  • Strong communication and organizational change management capabilities

Technical Environment

  • Enterprise Applications: SAP, Veeva
  • Methodologies: Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, Continuous Improvement

Expected Compensation Range:
50K-75K per year. The final compensation offered will be determined based on the candidate’s level of experience, skills, and qualifications, in compliance with applicable pay transparency requirements. 

Canadian Experience Requirement:
No Canadian work experience is required for this position. Candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of previous Canadian experience.
