Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of a safety-critical system in the mining sector. This role will be central in managing the onsite deployment, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards, and fostering stakeholder confidence in the successful adoption of the system.
The position requires a hands-on leader who can balance technical project execution with strong client engagement, while ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership & Coordination

Plan, coordinate, and manage all onsite activities related to system deployment.

Direct the work of engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to meet project milestones.

Establish and monitor performance indicators to track progress and identify risks early.

Ensure that deliverables meet quality, safety, and operational standards.
Client & Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary liaison with client representatives and operational teams.

Facilitate project meetings, status updates, and structured reporting.

Build strong relationships with operations, safety, and technical departments to secure alignment.

Represent the project in front of senior stakeholders and advocate for system adoption.
System Implementation & Change Management

Promote the operational and safety benefits of the system to ensure buy-in at all levels.

Support training and onboarding activities for client teams.

Address operational concerns and drive smooth integration into daily mining operations.
Compliance, Testing & Final Handover

Oversee system testing, validation, and issue resolution.

Ensure full compliance with regulatory, technical, and safety standards.

Manage the documentation process and lead the formal client sign-off.
Candidate Profile

PMP Certification (mandatory).
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.

At least 5 years of proven project management experience in mining, industrial automation, or safety systems.

Demonstrated success in managing safety-critical system implementations in operational environments.

Strong knowledge of mining operations and safety protocols.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to manage high-pressure projects with strict deadlines and complex stakeholder environments.
