About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Composite Construction Design Engineer to join our team, specializing in high-tech composite structures with integrated electronics and advanced mechanics. You will lead the design of innovative solutions—from milled parts and additive manufacturing (AM) to electronics cooling systems—using Creo for modeling, simulation, and production-ready deliverables. This role demands collaboration across teams and a deep understanding of metal composites (e.g., aluminum cores) and their manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities

Design and optimize composite structures (e.g., milled components, AM parts, cooling systems) for performance and manufacturability.

Use Creo for 3D modeling, simulations, and technical documentation.

Conduct FE analysis and validate designs through prototyping and testing.

Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, electronics, QA).

Stay ahead of industry trends in composite materials, sustainability, and defense applications.

Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., aerospace, defense).
Qualifications
Mandatory:

Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.

8+ years in mechanical design, focusing on composites (metal composites, aluminum cores).

Expertise in Creo (simulation, modeling, and drawings).

Proven experience with composite manufacturing (layup, curing, machining).

Swedish citizenship (due to project requirements).
Preferred:

Background in aerospace/defense sectors.

Knowledge of regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, MIL-SPEC).

Interest in sustainability/life cycle assessment for composites.
