Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
At Amaris Consulting, we are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to our clients. We are currently seeking a talented Modelisation and Simulation Engineer to join our dynamic team, based in Belgium. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced modeling and simulation techniques to support engineering projects and optimize performance.
🔥 Your Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain simulation models to analyze and predict system behavior under various conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment of simulation objectives with project goals.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of models to incorporate new data and improve accuracy.
- Provide training and support to team members on modeling and simulation tools and methodologies.
- Analyze simulation results and present findings to stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in modeling and simulation.
- Prepare and submit technical reports and documentation related to simulation projects and outcomes.
- Lead investigations into discrepancies between simulated and actual performance, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
🎯 Your Profile:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in modeling and simulation engineering or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of simulation software and tools (e.g.,ALICES, MATLAB, Simulink, ANSYS, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English, French, and Dutch.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing simulation models with a focus on optimization and performance enhancement.
- Proficient in data analysis and interpretation, with a strong understanding of statistical methods.
- A proactive problem-solver with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
