Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
Position Overview: We are seeking a consultant with strong expertise in railway safety systems, particularly in trackside equipment and safety validation. This key role will help fill a gap left by a departing safety engineer and will be crucial in system integration, configuration, and validation of trackside components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in trackside systems work, including configuration, interlocking (LBS), TMS, and balise systems.
- Apply CENELEC and CSM standards to safety-critical systems.
- Perform interface analysis between system components and other subsystems.
- Ensure compliance with safety requirements, including hazard identification and consequence impact.
- Serve as an independent safety validator, reporting to the team lead.
- Lead and support validation activities in coordination with other teams.
- Collaborate on documentation, certification, and technical reporting.
- Assist in scaling and mentoring internal team members on safety procedures.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of CENELEC standards (ISO 50129 & ISO 50126) and safety-critical systems in the railway domain.
- Familiarity with the Danish rail environment and experience in trackside systems is preferred.
- Background in system engineering, validation, and testing.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Danish or other local languages is an advantage.
- Prior experience with interface validation, documentation, and risk analysis.
Other Details:
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Denmark.
- The consultant should be stable and available long-term, with flexibility depending on workload.
- You will be part of a collaborative team, interfacing closely with international safety and validation teams.
