Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description

What will you do?
As a Service Technician, you'll play a key role in the on-site installation of low- and medium-voltage electrical systems across the Netherlands. Your responsibilities will include:
🔧 Assembling, commissioning, and inspecting electrical equipment
🤝 Collaborating with engineers, suppliers, clients, and project managers
🚐 Traveling across the country and occasionally staying overnight as needed
You’ll work within a close-knit technical team, where knowledge sharing and mutual support are part of the everyday culture. You’ll rarely be alone—and you'll always have someone to rely on.
What we’re looking for
✅ A technical diploma (MBO or equivalent) in electrotechnics
✅ 1 to 3 years of experience in a technical or electrical role
✅ Solid understanding of electrical systems and safety standards
✅ VCA Basic certificate (VCA VOL is a strong plus)
✅ Fluency in English; Dutch is a welcome bonus
We value team spirit, initiative, and a willingness to take on diverse tasks in dynamic environments. Knowledge of NEN 3140 & 3840 is appreciated but not required—we’ll support you in developing these skills.
