Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
Mission Description:
As a 1D CAE Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our mission to enhance thermal efficiency across our electric vehicle systems. You will be responsible for conducting system simulations to verify performance and requirements related to cooling, climate, and battery systems. Collaborating closely with the Attribute Thermal Efficiency team, system teams, and fellow CAE engineers, you will ensure seamless integration between 3D and 1D simulations. Your insights and recommendations will directly influence both software and hardware solutions, driving the development of cutting-edge electric vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct 1D simulations to analyze and optimize thermal efficiency for cooling, climate, and battery systems.
- Collaborate with the Attribute Thermal Efficiency team and system experts to develop simulation plans and strategies.
- Interface with other CAE engineers to ensure cohesive integration of 3D and 1D simulation efforts.
- Provide recommendations and solutions based on simulation results, impacting both software and hardware design.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to interpret requirements and present findings.
Profile Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in thermal analysis and 1D simulations, specifically in cooling and climate systems.
- Background in the automotive industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in GT Suite, MATLAB, Simulink, Python, and Teamcenter (viewer mode).
