Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Embedded Software Engineer to join our innovative team in Valcourt, developing the next generation of connected dashboards. If you are passionate about working at the intersection of embedded systems and advanced automotive technology, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define system and software requirements for connected dashboard solutions.
- Collaborate with software teams to develop system and software architectures.
- Interface between software development, validation teams, and product lines.
- Support multi-product requirements for connected vehicle systems.
- Coordinate software deliveries to meet product line requirements and schedules.
- Conduct vehicle sanity checks and validation before releasing software.
- Track and resolve product line issues, calibrate dashboard software parameters.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 4 to 6 years in embedded software engineering.
- Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
- Skills (Must): Proficiency in C, Android, Simulink, and MATLAB.
- Languages (Must): Fluent in both English and French.
- Work Presence: Available to work on-site for at least 80% of the time (4 out of 5 days).
