Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
ABOUT THE JOB
- Build and implement security monitoring and incident response capabilities, including playbook, processes, and tools.
- Provide security monitoring expertise and collaborate with various teams across the Group and business units.
- Act as a subject matter expert for cyber-related detection and incident response activities.
- Lead investigations into intrusions and coordinate responses to cyber-attacks that threaten company assets, intellectual property, and systems.
- Continuously improve security monitoring processes, tools, and solutions.
- Research and recommend solutions for incident response, supporting digital forensics where required.
- Collaborate with VAPT / Red team members to integrate security vulnerabilities and attack scenarios into the incident response playbook.
- Manage security appliances and tools for effective incident response operations.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, information security or a related field.
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in security operations, incident response, and security monitoring in a global environment.
- Ability to correlate and triage incidents effectively, identifying patterns across multiple incidents and alerts.
- Strong understanding of tactics, techniques, and procedures used in cyber kill chains, including reconnaissance, persistence, lateral movement, and data exfiltration.
- Experience in developing security monitoring capabilities and use cases for various tech stacks, including APIs, applications, cloud, and containers.
- Experience in digital forensics and threat hunting.
- Knowledge of threat and vulnerability landscape, including malware, emerging threats, and vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with cloud, containers, and Agile development concepts, as well as networking topologies and enterprise hardware.
- Proficiency in tools such as Splunk or Sumo Logic.
- Programming and scripting skills in languages like Perl, Python, PowerShell, or shell scripting.
- Strong communication skills in English – both oral and written.
