Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
ABOUT THE JOB
- Develop and maintain our E-commerce platforms using Magento 2 Commerce Cloud.
- Play a pivotal role in the design of system components and the implementation of features.
- Design, develop, test, and document component features and functions.
- Work on complex tasks that require innovative solutions in areas such as security, scalability, and performance.
- Implement E-commerce functionalities such as site search, product recommendations, payment gateways, shipping methods, promotions, loyalty programs, returns, and exchanges.
- Research and install Magento extensions, customizing them to fulfill client requirements.
- Integrate Magento with third-party applications (e.g., SAP, CRM, POS) using APIs.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage based on requirements and design specifications.
- Write and maintain test cases for existing and new code to guarantee compatibility and stability.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor’s degree or College’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- For Middle Level Engineer: 3-5 years of experience with Magento 2 Opensource or Commerce.
- For Junior Level Engineer: 1-3 years of experience with Magento 2 Opensource or Commerce.
- Proficiency in Backend Development with Magento2, MAMP, LAMP, Elasticsearch, Redis.
- Experience with source control tools such as Git, Gitlab.
- Frontend Development skills in JavaScript, CSS3, Less, KnockoutJS.
- Familiarity with Magento Cloud infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of design patterns, coding standards, and SOLID principles.
- Magento 2 certification is highly desirable.
- Good English reading skills are essential.
- Knowledge of query optimization and database optimization is a plus.
- A humble, open-minded personality with a keenness to learn and share knowledge.
- Professional work ethic with excellent teamwork and communication skills.
