Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
We are looking for a Tech Lead with strong expertise in Palantir to spearhead high-impact data initiatives and guide teams in building scalable, production-ready data solutions. Based in Brussels, you will take ownership of end-to-end data engineering projects, working at the intersection of business needs and technical innovation.

Your missions:

Lead the design, development, and deployment of data engineering solutions using Palantir Foundry

Develop robust data pipelines, ontologies, and operational applications

Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions

Mentor and guide a team of data engineers and analysts

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders

Ensure data quality, governance, and security throughout the data lifecycle

Oversee project delivery and drive continuous improvement of engineering practices

Stay up to date with Palantir updates and emerging trends in data architecture and engineering
Your profile:

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
-
4–8+ years of experience in data engineering, including 2–3+ years working with Palantir Foundry

Proven leadership experience in technical or team lead roles

Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, and distributed data processing (e.g., Spark)

Experience building and optimizing complex ETL/ELT pipelines

Solid understanding of data modeling, architecture, and integration patterns

Comfortable working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies

Fluent in French and English
